Recent Happenings
Big Thanks to Quaggy and Fat Randy for having my out to their trail jam last Saturday. It was a great time the locals there put in a shit ton of work on that place. I stole the above pic from Pawell's flicker. Its not from the jam, but its of Quaggy at his trails and I liked it, so there. Brian Coleman was in town from Cali for the event.. I t was real good to see him. I owe him sleeves. Ask him. Bobby D and a crew also made it there from Ohio. Bobby is a kick ass
dude, so say hi to him if your ever at Ray's.
Steve was involved in some sort of shoot for Fuse channel. I guess Kachinkski o hooked that up. Steve was psyched about it and told me they were doing a little feature on Chicago BMX.
The 3rd Annual Bmx Extravaganza is coming up at Midway real soon. They recently put in some new ramps they acquired from Undercover. It will be a good time. A lot of sponsors are helping out this year. It is cheap and there should be a lot of goodies to win.

Here We Go!
Yo Yo!! Long time no post from myself and for good reason. First of all, I spent a nice week in lovely Portland, OR and had myself a little fun at Burnside. Thanks to Chester Blacksmith and friends for letting me use their whips for a little bit and having some fun for a while. Second, i've been bikeless for just about a month now due to me getting a new ride and waiting for parts to arrive at Nocturnal. I'll be running a new T1 Moody/Hickerson frame which should be pretty sweet. So probably by next week ill have a complete newby to shred. In the mean time, its been relaxin with friends and getting through a lot of the humidity and what not here in Chicago. And last but not least, I finally made the move to Chicago! I'm right in Logan Square on Foster and Western, which is not far from the classic Northside (Wilson) skatepark. You can catch me up there during the week most likely, if not call me up and find me; ill be around. Stay tuned for photos from Portland and I am going to be starting an Enemy trailer soon, get ready team! Filming is going down soon due to a new camera and final cut pro on my computer. Now get out and shred your bike!! Happy Summer! Thanks for the shirt Jon!

Garden Jam!
The jam went down Sunday. It was a great time. I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen in years. I guess when people here trails in city limits they get real curious. Everything got sessioned hard, everything from the jumps, to the grill, to the hammocks. Here are some photos Kevin Jarvis took and a few I took with my little digi. There were quite a few people taking photos so look for more up soon. Huge thanks go out to Logan, Marcum, Kevin, Dan Z, the Free riders and everyone else who put in time digging to get the place ready.

More Music
So, I have been posting more about music than I have bike riding. I have been having fun on my bike and helping out at the trails, but have lost motivation to document it. I know ityou want pics s maybe I will try for next time.
That being said the Belmont Arts and Music Fest is this weekend in Chicago. Saturday night Cursive is playing and Sunday night the Smoking Popes are playing. Its been a pretty good summer for seeing good bands at block parties!
The tentative date for the upcoming trails jam at "The Garden" (blame Logan) is July 6th. A lot of people have been putting in hours behind the shovel to get the place dialed in for the event. I will put a flyer up when everything is official.

Weekend Warriors
Critical Mass is tonight. There is a bunch of Chicago BMX guys are going . Hopefully the rain will will stop.If you live near Chicago Lucero is playing tomorrow at the Do Division Fest It will be literally right out side my front door. I am excited.
Our good friend Alex Bedoya ( (from Nocturnal BMX) recently had a real bad crash and severely injured his head and face. He is a huge part of the Chicago BMX scene and we wish him a quick recovery. There are plans in the works for some possible benefits for him to help with his medical fees. I will post info on those as soon I get it.

Out and Ouch
Yo!
Long time no post outta me, so I guess im due. I've been kinda M.I.A. around the city lately due to diggin my trails and getting them ready for a bbq jam soon. Yesterday was a not so good day, went riding with Kachinsky at the Lemont park and it got the best of me. Pretty much ripped a huge muscle in my arm and can barley move it up or to the side. Should probably go get it looked at also ha. So im going to be out for a bit but it will give me some time to film a bit and get goin on some edits for the site. If anyone has any tips on shoulder recovery hit me up at loveyourlife2208@yahoo.com. Other then that, keep checkin back for the bbq jam and keep on shredding! Peace

Scary Shit
Check Out this Article
After reading that I think its even more messed up that Nike is falling all over themselves to enter every aspect of the Oympic market. That includes BMX as seen here.
